Smithy’s is open for the season. At Smithy’s PYO Cherries you can turn up and pick your own ripe Central Otago cherries from 8am – 6pm during the cherry season (usually Late Dec to Late Jan). Find us at 123 Ripponvale Rd. Cromwell. Our cherries are $17/kg. We ask that people visiting the orchard buy at least 1kg of cherries. We have free parking, picnic areas, games, friendly farm sheep to feed and real fruit ice-creams. It’s a great day out for the whole family.
